TIMBER SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION (CHAIN OF CUSTODY)
Chain of Custody is the unbroken path which products take from the forest to the consumer, including all stages of manufacturing, transportation and distribution.
Chain of Custody certification provides evidence that the certified product originates from certified, well managed forests, and verifies that these products are not mixed with products from uncertified forests at any point in the supply chain, except under strict controls when percentage (%) labelling* is being used. The chain starts at the forest, ensuring that our natural environment is maintained and is followed through every link of the chain through to the end user.
Chain of Custody certification is required whenever a company carries out any material alteration to the timber/product, or whenever they take physical or legal ownership of the timber/product.

"During the last year Beamfast Ltd have carried out the following works:
Window refurbishment, Installation of new timber first floor, Installation of new arched sash windows, Repairs to existing 1870 joinery, Installation of templates for tapered barrel vault ceilings, Repairs to existing timber floors.
The works were carried out to programme to a high standard and snag free on completion. The labour force was consistent and very helpful through out. I would be more than happy to propose and use Beamfast on any future projects.
